인쇄물・스크린 상의 2차원 이미지와 텍스트를 재료로, 디지털 시각화 도구를 이용해 아무것과 아무것도 아닌 어떤 것들을 그래픽 아트・디자인의 형태로 변환한다.
텍스트와 이미지, 점・선・면의 배열이 만들어내는 구조의 엄정한 규칙성, 이미지의 비인과적 가공・훼손・오류가 드러내는 의미와 미학, 그리고 그것들을 가능케 하는 디지털 미디어의 가소성과 탄력성에 관심이 있다.
Based in Seoul, Korea.
Kim uses two-dimensional images and text on prints and screens as materials, and digital visualization tools to transform something-anything-and nothing into graphic art and design. She is interested in the rigid regularity of the structure created by text and images, dots, lines, and faces, the meaning and aesthetics of the image's uncivilized processing, damage, and errors, and the plasticity and elasticity of the digital media that makes them possible.
