원형으로 연결된 체인 이미지는 여성들의 강하고 단단한 연대를, 슬로건은 묵살과 무시에도 불구하고 끈질기고 고집스럽게 계속될 ‘우리’의 목소리와 장벽을 깨는 끈기를 의미한다. “Nevertheless, We Persist”는 2017년 미국에서 엘리자베스 워런 상원의원이 제프 세션스 법무장관 지명자 인준에 반대하는 과정에서 의회 발언권을 빼앗긴 뒤, 미치 맥코넬 공화당 상원의원이 워런을 겨냥해 “그녀는 경고를 받았다. (…) 그럼에도 불구하고, 그녀는 고집을 부렸다(Nevertheless, She Persisted).”고 발언한 것에서 유래했다. 워런이 고집을 꺾지 않았다고 힐책한 맥코넬의 문구는 #ShePersisted, #LetLizSpeak 등의 해시태그와 함께 역으로 미국 페미니스트의 슬로건으로 떠올랐다.

2018년 3월 8일 세계 여성의 날을 맞아, 여성이 평등하게 노동할 권리, 여성이 자신의 몸과 건강의 주체가 될 권리, 젠더폭력으로부터 자유로울 권리, 여성이 민주사회의 주체가 될 권리를 위한 모금을 기획했다.

2018년 2월 24일부터 3월 8일까지 12일간 222명의 참여로 총 5,246,000원이 모금 되었으며, 제작비를 제외한 모든 수익금은 한국성폭력상담소, 한국여성의전화, 한국여성민우회에 후원되었다.

The circular connected chain image means the strong and hard solidarity of women,and the slogan means the voice of "ours" that will continue persistently and stubbornly and barrier breaking tenacity, in spite of silence and neglect. "Nevertheless, We Persist" stems from Republican Senator Mitch McConnell's remarks aimed at Warren:"She was warned. Nevertheless, she was stubborn.", after Senator Elizabeth Warren lost control of Congress in her opposition to the nomination of Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

On the occasion of World Women's Day on March 8, 2018, fundraising was planned for women's right to work equally, women's right to be the subject of their body and health, their right to be free from gender violence, and women's right to be the subject of democratic society.



A total of 5,246,000 won was raised for 12 days from February 24 to March 8, 2018, with 222 people participating, and all proceeds except production costs were donated to the Korea Sexual Violence Counseling Center, the Korea Women's Telephone and the Korean Women's Association.
